A GEORGE III TWO ROW DIAMOND RING CIRCA 1800 The old mine cut diamonds in cut down collet closed back silver settings, with gold backs, approximately 1.30 carats total, to trifurcated shoulders Size/dimensions: finger size N Gross weight: 2.9 grams With a Harvey & Gore receipt dated Nov. 26th. 1980 Condition Report: The two rows of diamonds may have originally been an eternity ring and possibly adapted but the shank appears to be of a similar age, there is some wear to the settings, a couple of the diamonds have been glued into the settings, there is abrasion to the crown facets, due to the settings and perishing of the foil at the back of the stones the diamonds colour cannot be graded. Clarity mostly VS-SI. Two of the diamonds to the ends of the settings have a large chip to the side of the stone. The shank has been later sized. Condition Report Disclaimer
