A GEORGE III SILVER-GILT DESSERT-SERVICE MOSTLY MARK OF WILLIAM ELEY WILLIAM FEARN AND WILLIAM CHAWNER, LONDON, 1812 King's pattern with double shell and laurel, each piece engraved with a crest within a garter, comprising: Eighteen dessert-spoons Eighteen dessert-forks, two later unmarked replacements Eighteen fruit-knives Six serving spoons Four ice-cream spades A pair of grape-scissors, 1814 All contained in a fitted inlaid mahogany canteen the canteen 13¾ in. (35 cm.) wide 124 oz. 3 dwt. (3,862 gr.) The crest is that of Coote, for Sir Charles Henry 9th Bt. (1792-1864). (65)
