A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER SUGAR BASKET AND A GEORGE III TWO HANDLED SUGAR BOWL AND A CREAM JUG, the first Dublin, 1787, maker's mark of Joseph Jackson the sugar bowl London, 1821, maker's mark of George Burrows II; the jug 1807, maker's mark probably that of William Hall the first deep boat shaped, on oval foot with short stem, engraved with two geometric bands, the shoulder pierced with lozenges, divided and above similar bands, two sides engraved with oval within tied ribbon, one engraved with crest, with reeded rim and overhead swing handle-- 6in. (15.2cm.) high ; the compressed circular sugar bowl on four ball feet, with fluted mid band, applied gadrooned rim and two partly reed acanthus topped upswept handle-- 5in. (12.7cm.) diam. ; the molded oblong cream jug on four ball feet, with two engraved stylized leafy bands, the front with jig saw rectangular cartouche (damaged), with reeded rim and harp form handle-- 4¼in. (10.7cm.), 21.5oz.
