A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED AND BRASS-INLAID EBONY AND CHINESE-LACQUER MEUBLE D'APPUI SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY RE-USING AN EARLIER CARCASE, CHINESE LACQUER PANELS EARLY 19TH CENTURY The later Villefranche de Conflent rectangular marble top above an ormolu egg-and-dart and beaded frieze above a pair of cabinet doors opening to a shelved interior with two kingwood-lined shelves, the front panels depicting houses and people with landscapes and the side panels depicting deer in landscapes, on circular tapering acanthus-cast feet, with a paper label to the underside 'BEDEL & CIE 77784', with signs of earlier mounts 46¼ in. (117.5 cm.) high, 41½ in. (105.5 cm.) wide, 16 in. (41 cm.) deep
