A FRENCH GILT-BRASS AND SÈVRES PATTERN PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK AND A SIMILAR PAIR OF SIDE ORNAMENTS Late 19th Century The clock movement striking on a single bell, with turquoise ground and gilt-embellished dial painted with two winged putti and floral garlands to the centre, enclosed by a circular bevelled glazed door with brass bezel, in balloon-shaped case, the sides mounted with winged putti handles and surmounted by a two-handled urn and fixed cover with pineapple cone finial, the frieze painted with two ladies and a child within a landscape, on spreading rectangular base with re-entrant corners and cast with a continous band of acanthus, on squat leaf-cast feet, 16½in. (42cm) high; and a pair of two-handled side ornaments of similar design, each with eagle-head handles, on turned supports, lacking covers 7½in. (19cm) high (3)
