SILVANI, A. PARIS to lower margin, with pierced steel hands and moulded brass bezel, the engraved fretwork case with symmetrical scroll surmount and conforming arched foliate sprays issuing from the moulded collar beneath the dial, raised on a pair of generous leafy uprights terminating in bifurcated scrolls at the base, on brass line inlaid ebonised ovoid base with glass dome cover, the clock 38cm (15ins) high; with base and dome cover 54cm (21.25ins) high overall.
