A finely detailed exhibition standard 1:100 scale wood, metal and fibreglass electric powered model of the container ship M.V.'Axel Johnson' of Stockholm, built by N.S.Gerov 1975. --16½ x 67in (41.9 x 170.2cm) With signal masts, navigation lights, radio and radar aerials, rigging, tower and gantry cranes, anchors, winches, cleats, bollards, deck rails, search and deck lights, spare anchor, lockers, crane, gantry cranes with containers below, companionways, ship's boat, superstructure with bridge over, two lifeboats in davits, binnacle, engine room telegraphs, engine room lights, ventilators, rear crane and many other fine details. The g.r.p. covered planked and framed hull has twin shafts with propellors ( motor removed ) and rudder. Finished in pale blue, white and yellow with green decks. Fitted carrying box, certificates and literature.
