Great overall design of scrolling arabesques together with palmettes, stylised floral sprays and delicate flowering vine. In an ivory border of similar design between triple floral and arabesque stripes. Outer plain stripe. Apart of tiny wear to the top pile in one or two very small places, barely visible, this carpet has full pile and in in very good condition throughout. Very fine weave, approx: 9 x 8 knots poer sq. cm.. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Very good colour combination and very well balanced piece. Seldom found type in this size. Attractive and very elegant carpet.
