A FINE HUANGHUALI ALTAR TABLE, TIAO'AN 16TH/17TH CENTURY The single plank top carved with 'ice-plate' edge and terminating in everted flanges at the ends supported on trestles, each with square legs joined by a humped shoe foot and framing a large panel carved with three shaped apertures surrounding a cloud collar, the plain apron with wide beading curling into the modified 'apron head' spandrels to suggest cloud collars, all parts original--35½in. (90.2cm.) high, 86in. (218.5cm.) wide, 18in. (45.7cm.) deep
