A fine collection of Ottoman Empire stamps and cancellations in five albums; the stamps include 1863-64 first issue selection including a 20pa. used tête-bêche pair; 1865 Duloz issues mint value to 25pi. including a few multiples, 1867 second Duloz issue with plate flaws and imperforates, 1868-73 third Duloz issue with 10pa. showing overprint inverted, ; later Duloz issues with a large number of plate and overprint flaws; the cancellations include Eastern Thrace 1882 entire bearing 20pa. cancelled at Andrinople, Greece 1892 cover bearing on reverse 1pi. and 2pi. tied by double-ring "KARABINA" c.d.s., Greek Islands 1880 (c.) entire to Constantinople bearing 1pi. cancelled by Volos triple-oval framed h.s., Holy Land 1903 cover bearing 1pi. used from Nazareth to Uganda, also an undated cover to Austria bearing 5pa. pair cancelled by violet Jerusalem "Kuds" h.s., Iraq 1880 (c.) part cover (opened out for display but defective) bearing 10pa. (4) tied by the rare negative seal of Hai, 1880 (c.) cover to Baghdad bearing 2pi. (on reverse) cancelled by Erbil double-framed rectangular h.s., Lebanon 1875 (c.) entire bearing 20pa. and 1pi. cancelled by Beirut triple-framed rectangular h.s., Saudi Arabia 1909 cover registered to India (re-addressed to London) bearing 10pa. (4) and 20pa. (2) tied by segmented "MEKKÉ" c.d.s.; Syria 1846 entire to Aleppo showing a partial strike of the Damascus negative seal in blue-green, 1875 (c.) part entire bearing 20pa. and 1pi. cancelled by Hama double-framed rectangular h.s., 1890 cover to London bearing on reverse 1pi. tied by double-ring "ALEP" d.s., Yugoslavia 1859 (c.) entire to Salonica showing negative seal of Monastir in blue-green. In addition there are hundreds of other cancellations on loose stamps, pieces and some multiples.
