A FINE AND RARE BLUE AND WHITE AND IRON-RED 'DRAGON' DISH QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795) The interior is decorated in underglaze blue and iron-red with a leaping scaly five-clawed dragon amidst ruyi clouds and flame scrolls, its body enclosing a 'flaming pearl'. The pattern is repeated on the exterior as a frieze of two striding dragons. 6 in. (15.2 cm.) diam.
