A dutch silver spoon Maker's mark only, most likely that of Pieter Douwes (Voet 309), Kollum, circa 1660 With fig-shaped bowl, the canted plain handle with pine-cone finial, the reverse of the bowl engraved with a coat-of-arms within scrolling foliage and initials SFAR , pricked BE M 83 , marked on bowl 18 cm. long 52 gr.
