A Dutch Delft blue and white rectangular documentary 'Sermon of Duifhuis' plaque CIRCA 1670 Painted in lavender blue with a large central medallion depicting a Gothic vaulted church interior with a priest delivering a sermon on a pulpit in front of a large assistance of faithful listeners, surrounded by four plump winged putti with flowing garments and holding floral festoons, the top pierced with two and the lower part with one aperture for suspension (the upper left corner with a replacement fragment, the left lower corner with extremity lacking and connecting large chip, the right lower corner with repaired glaze fragments) 30.5 x 37.4 cm.
