A CRIMEA WAR MEDAL. A Crimea War medal with single clasp Sebastopol, named to 3904 Pte I Gleeson 33rd Foot. In the roll his initial is given as J but all details are otherwise correct. Purchased from the willoughby Medal Co Swindon in 1981. The roll shows he arrived at the camp in June 1855, from the reserve company in Malta.
