(A) COLT FLAT TOP TARGET SINGLE ACTION ARMY IN .38 COLT.

Shipped on November 17, 1909 in a one gun shipment to Albert Foster Jr. Colt's Patent Fire-arms MFG. Company New York Office New York, New York. Not only rare, these revolvers are a very attractive and well-finished variation, finished in all high polished blue finish with a casehardened hammer and fire blue screws. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.", the left side ".38 COLT." and the 2-line, 3 patent dates on the lower left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Albert Foster was the Manager of the New York office. This is one out of 122 flat tops made in .38 Colt. 2-piece Eagle hard rubber grips. This is a black powder frame and the screws have not been molested. CONDITION: Gun retains the vast majority of the factory high polish blue finish. Grips show minimal wear. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
