A collection of WWII medals and ephemera belonging to three brothers including Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) medal group and log books, comprising a WWII Distinguished Flying Cross medal group of five, for 1443087 Sergeant D.W.N. Franklin, navigator, Lancaster Bomber Mk II, Wellington bombers, comprising Distinguished Flying Medal dated 1944, 1939-1945 Star with Bomber command, The Air Crew Europe Star, 1939-1945 Defence Medal, and a 1939-1945 War Medal, a Royal Canadian Air Force Observer's and Gunner's Flying Log Book dating from 11/3/1942-4/4/1945, an Operational Diary for 115 Squadron 3 Group Bomber Command, photographs of crew and crash landed Lancaster, his dog tags, wings cloth badge and 115 insignia cloth badge, together with Log book for 1615606 R.J. Franklin, Navigator Halifax bomber, KIA 19/8/1944, two photographs of their younger brother P. Franklin, who never saw active service but trained in nowadays Zimbabwe, together with a plastic models of D. Franklin's Lancaster bomber and and R. Franklin's Halifax bomber in an airbase setting, contained within a perspex presentation case, 59.5 by 59.5 by 17cm high, two glass painting of the D. Franklin's Lancaster bomber and R.
