A collection of miniatures and silhouettes including a young naval officer, in profile to left, in blue coat with red facings, gold epaulette, his powdered hair en queue (English School, circa 1790/1800); silhouettes of a young girl, and two cut-outs of two gentlemen including Karl Ludwig; two oil paintings of young children, in white dresses, both carrying flowers; an oil painting of a young gentlemen in a black coat, waistcoat and cravat; a young lady, in a grey dress with frilled white collar; and Zoe, in a low-cut white dress, wearing a black hat with plumes (E. Dorothea Dudgeon) signed, inscribed and dated on obverse 'Zoe WIFE OF J. OAKLEY MAUND PAINTED BY E. DOROTHEA DUDGEON. DEC. 1898 EXHIBITED SUMMER EXHIBITION OF THE NEW GALLERY 19.., paste frame with ribbon surmount all framed rectangular and ovals, 2½ in. (63 mm.) to 4 5/8 in. (118 mm.) (9)
