The match I shall never forget and it was a fitting conclusion to your first class cricket," telegrams include one from Tommy Higson (1873-1949, Derbyshire and Lancashire) and the Philadelphian Pilgrims; together with a 1p. t.l.s. by the Earl of Londsdale and a congratulatory telegram dated 1902.
