Provenance: Collection of Bernard Buckman (1910 – 1991). 清 蓝料鼻烟壶 《咸丰年制》款 Literature: Snuff bottles produced by the Imperial Glass Workshop during the Xianfeng reign, the likely origin of the present piece, are extremely rare. According to Zhang Rong (2005) production was strictly limited to one hundred and twenty per year (Luster of Autumn Water: Glass of the Qing Imperial Workshop).
