A Chinese large blue and white baluster jar and cover Kangxi period (1662-1722) The baluster sides painted with rows of shaped alternating panels of river-landscapes and a lady with a boy beside a banana tree, all on a washed-blue ground reserved with chrysanthemum and leafy scrolls in white, below a band of ruyi -heads around the shoulder, the domed cover with similar decoration and knob finial, restored 60 cm. high
