A Chinese famille verte bowl Kangxi (1662-1722) Set on a short foot, the sides decorated with scroll- and leaf-shaped panels of leaves and fruit reserved on a ground moulded in shallow relief with a flower-head and swastika pattern, above a band of ducks in a waterpond, the interior painted with a spray of magnolia, the rim with four taotie -masks reserved on a diaper-pattern ground, rim restoration, rim crack, some wear 25.5 cm. diam.
