The cylindrical body painted in green black and red lacquer and gilt with panels of figurative scenes from folklore and literature beneath a band of cloud scrolls, the convex cover with a maiden carrying two buckets, the edges with cranes in flight among stylised clouds, all against a cinnabar ground sprinkled with gold dust, 20cm H, 20.7cm diameter.
