A CELADON CRACKLE-GLAZED TRIPOD CENSER AND A LONGQUAN CELADON-GLAZED DISH MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) The censer is carved around the body with a faint band of ruyi -heads and is applied with two animal-head handles. It is surmounted with a carved and pierced wood stand with an ivory figural finial. The dish is carved to the interior with ridges emanating from the centre, the glaze pooling to a darker tone within the crevices. The larger, 8 ½ in. (21.6 cm.) diam.
