MARTIN AND THE BEGGAR PROBABLY UTRECHT, SECOND HALF 15TH CENTURY Carved in high relief with St. martin reaching out his cloak to the beggar about to render it in two with his sword; losses to the extremities, the stone covered with a white ground layer - now discoloured grey, and traces of polychromy, mounted on a modern red velvet covered stand 37 cm. high
