A BYZANTINE BRONZE LAMP AND STAND 6TH CENTURY A.D. The tripod stand with lobed feet and knobbed mantle, the moulded baluster-stem with deep saucer and central pricket above, supporting the lamp with single flaring nozzle, a cross surmounting the ring handle, the hinged lid with knop finial, 13 1/8 in. (33.4 cm.) high; a Byzantine bronze pendant cross with relief decoration on each side depicting the Crucifixion, the Mother of God and busts of saints, a pendant chain above, 9th-10th Century A.D., 4 in. (10.2 cm.) high; a bronze reliquary cross with traces of an incised figure, the reverse with geometric patterns and recesses for inlay, 6th-9th Century A.D., 3 7/8 in. (9.9 cm.) high; a pottery lamp with moulded grape bunches around the central hole, a menorah between volutes on the nozzle, 3rd-5th Century A.D., 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) long; a Coptic terracotta figurine, arms outstretched, with large circular eyes and arched headdress pierced at corners, 6th-7th Century A.D., 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; a Roman bronze horned female head attachment, circa 2nd Century A.D., 2 in. (5 cm.) high; a Greek terracotta female head, 5th Century B.C., 2½ in.
