Höroldt , with an Oriental carrying a tray of vessels in a landscape with a flowering shrub on the right and trees and shrubs growing on a rocky arch to the left before distant mountains, within a slightly elongated quatrefoil underglaze blue and gilt cartouche enriched at intervals with red and pale-brown foliage scrolls and husks issuing from gilt foliage scrolls, within a gilt band rim, the underside painted by David Köhler with a mottled blue ground (restored chip at 7 o'clock, small areas of slight re-touching to gilt rim, slight areas of wear to gilding) 5 in. (12.8 cm.) diam.
