(10.8cm.) high; another, green glazed, with hieroglyphs at back and front, "...Chantress Khonsu-em-heb..." -- 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high, both Dynasty XXI-XX (1070-712 B.C.) ; a purple-black glazed composition winged scarab, mounted -- 2¾in. (7.1cm.) across; a Romano-Egyptian blue and yellow glazed composition amulet of squatting Harpocrates, with right forefinger to his mouth; another similar -- 1.8cm. high max.; two speckled diorite wedjat -eyes; another in agate -- 2.3cm. long max.; a turquoise glazed composition ring stand -- 2 5/8in. (6.8cm.) diam., all Late Period (712-332 B.C.) ; and three Sassanian hard stone seals, one engraved with a winged human-headed horse, the bearded head wearing a vertically striated headdress -- 1.6cm. high max., circa 5th Century A.D.
