A BLACK LACQUER AND GILT CHINOISERIE DECORATED BOX LATE 17TH CENTURY Chinese style deer to the top, pale red velvet lined interior, original chased escutcheon 10cm high, 29cm wide, 24cm deep Provenance: Property from the Phillip Lucas Collection, Spitalfields House Condition Report: Wear and rubbing as per age, use and handling, most notably to raised deer and corners. Escutcheon with later pins, interior lining possibly later. possibly replaced hinges- formerly with feet Wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning.
