Beschreibung:

This MV Agusta 750S has been stored for most of its life and has covered only 8,366 kilometres (circa 5,200 miles) from new (we are advised that this figure has been verified with previous owners). The machine has had three previous owners, the first of which was Giuliano Lamborghini, of Cento (near Modena and close to the Lamborghini car factory) on 23rd June 1975. In September that same year the MV was purchased by Giancarlo Monari, in perfect condition and with a few hundred kilometres recorded, on 25th September 1975. An enthusiast who owned several motorcycles, Giancarlo Monari was then aged 31 and lived in Ferrara, not far from Cento. He fitted the bike with an MV America tank, four matt black megaphones and a monoposto racing seat, as well as various other parts to give the machine a sportier appearance. (It should be noted that he machine has never been raced, being used solely on the road). After less than a year, Giancarlo needed money to get married, so he sold the bike to Renzo Tartari, an enthusiast friend in Ferrara. A collector of Italian classic motorcycles, Mr Tartari bought the MV on 18th June 1976, by which time it had covered around 4,000 kilometres. The MV was stabled with the rest of his collection in a large barn at his home near Ferrara, where they were well cared for, taxed, insured and ridden regularly. (The collection’s MVs were serviced periodically by Arturo Magni, the ex-MV chief engineer). The current owner of the bike is the niece of Renzo Tartari, from whom she bought the MV 750S on 13th February 1986. The machine was kept garaged in Italy, where it was ridden occasionally by her husband, and imported into the UK when the couple returned to this country in October 1994. The MV was MoT tested at the time (the certificate shows 8,365 kilometres - copy available) and registered ‘KLL 858N’. Since then the MV has been stored in a warm dry garage. It was started regularly until a few years ago, but is not run now. However, the bores are oiled and the engine turned over every year. The machine is offered with Swansea V5C registration document and Italian registration papers (both copies and originals).
