Beschreibung:

Comparative newcomers to the Italian motorcycle scene, the Castiglioni brothers’ Cagiva concern established itself in the late 1970s when it purchased the Harley-Davidson-owned Aermacchi factory at Varese. One of the most successful of Cagiva’s models is the Mito, a 125cc ‘learner bike’ styled like a Grand Prix racer and aimed at image-conscious younger riders. Endowed with an aluminium-alloy twin-spar beam frame, seven-speed gearbox, Brembo brakes and top-notch equipment, the Mito – together with its Aprilia RS125 rival – raised the stakes in the 125cc class to new levels. The fact that it looked like a miniature Ducati 916 did it no harm either. First introduced as long ago as 1990, the Mito has been through many evolutions since and remains available today in both full power (circa 30bhp) and restricted versions. Presented in limited edition ‘Lucky Explorer’ livery of the Lucky Strike cigarette brand, this unrestricted Mito is Professor Ehn’s own personal mount and has covered a mere 726 kilometres from new. The machine is offered with bill of sale and original Austrian Typenschein.
