Anton Pieck designed the Kaatsheuvel pavillion and the various stands. The S.L.E.M. was organised for and by the leather and shoe industry in and around Waalwijk. Most stands were occupied by leather and shoe companies but there was also a stand for the amusement park the Efteling, which had opened its doors just a year before the exhibition. With 5 loosely inserted photographs of the original designs and the final result.
