67/2533 Alba amicorum Album amicorum of RAPPARD ? 67/2533 Alba amicorum Album amicorum of RAPPARD ? 67/2533 [Alba amicorum]. Album amicorum of RAPPARD(?), mainly Halle, 1752-1766, (137) lvs. (incl. 72 blank), comprising of 42 contributions, contemp. richly gilt double panelled red mor., richly gilt spine, gilt boardedges, a.e.g., sm. obl. 8vo, kept in later box. - Three sm. tickets (2x "Familie-Archief van Beresteyn") on box. Lacking at least 65 lvs.; 19 lvs. partially present w. contributions (not included in counting). Binding sl. worn/ chafed. Including four index lvs. at the end. = Interesting 18th century album amicorum. Although the album is attributed to "Rappard" in a later manuscript annotation, this name is not found in the contributions. It was most likely compiled at a univeristy in Halle, Germany. It is also very likely that the first owner of the album was a Dutch man. Some names of contributors: C.F. Busse, F.A. Meyer, C.P. Pestel, A.E. de Rademaeker, W.H.A. van Rappard, P.C. Harlman, T.A.
