.50 caliber, 40" octagonal barrel, and 1" across the flats. Left flat of barrel stamped BMOHM. Back-action percussion lockplate, double-set trigger, all brass hardware including patchbox. German silver squirrel inlay on cheekpiece. 56" overall length. Provenance: Property of the former First National Bank of Fremont, Indiana Condition: Barrel and lock retain brown finish. Stock has been lightly cleaned with oil finish added. Crack completely through the wrist that was an old repair. All brass with nice mustard look. German silver squirrel inlay has been cleaned to bright, but still has a nice tarnished look. Ramrod is not original.
