Nature threw everything it had it at the hardy Burgundian Vignerons in 2012, resulting in very low yields. what was made can be thrilling and this is one of them. Very much in its infancy, this wine has a brilliant shimmering crimson colour, Like a mirage in the glass. Great concentration ( a hall mark of the best wines of 2012) a subtle perfumed nose and restrained sweet black cherry and blueberries lifted by fresh acidity, stood on top of a firm tannic structure. Due to the balance it can be enjoyed now , but will reward further from 2022, plus this is a dazzling wine.
