In addition to being lighter (it weighed 100kg less than the standard model) and producing more power thanks to a revised intake and exhaust, higher compression ratio, and re-profiled piston crowns, the car featured a faster-shifting Superfast2 semi-automatic gearbox, and bodywork subtly reworked for increased overall downforce. The 430 Scuderia also featured a new traction control system (E-Diff electronic differential) and carbon ceramic brakes as standard equipment. The legendary Michael Schumacher was a key contributor to the new model's development, undoubtedly no small factor in the 430 Scuderia having faster lap times at Fiorano than even the famed Ferrari Enzo! The 430 Scuderia offered here was originally delivered in its native Italy in January 2009, then passed to a large Italian collection from which the current owner acquired it in 2016. It is finished in Argento Nürburgring, while the interior features Nero Alcantara upholstery, four-point racing harnesses, and plentiful carbon fibre. This car was delivered without a radio and came with brake callipers in Rosso, the latter a very eye-catching touch. Yellow Scuderia shields are fitted to the front wings, while the dashboard boasts a yellow-faced tachometer. Following the current owner's acquisition, the car was serviced in February 2017 by Motor Service Srl of Modena, which including changing the oil and brake fluid and fitting new tyres. The car's condition is described as exceptional overall, with fewer than 2,000 kilometres covered since 2008, and it would undoubtedly be a real thrill for future track days or as the complement to the road-going F430 in one's collection.
