Following Rover’s decision to end the “Classic” range of Minis, the manufacturer decided to offer a limited edition Mini Cooper Sport 500 Production was limited to just 500 cars and was billed as the last chance to purchase Alec Issigonis’ classic Mini design All were powered by a 62bhp, four-cylinder, 1.2-litre engine and sat on 13-inch alloy wheels Unique features included a high-level brake light, four spot lamps, a certificate and a plaque inside the glove box, an alloy gear knob, window winders, dashboard, door pulls and door handles Finished in Anthracite Black with a black and silver interior, it's been with its current custodian since 2016 with just two previous keepers 40,300 miles, last service in December 2021 and the MOT is valid until December this year Entered on a No Reserve basis, this collectable Mini is certainly due to generate good interest.
