Beschreibung:

Introduced in 1993, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six cylinder model since production of the DBS had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two door coupé body and powerful six cylinder engine. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, Aston Martin introduced the V12 engine with a 24 valve head, developing 420bhp limited to 185mph. After the launch of the Vantage, sales of the supercharged straight-six engine DB7 reduced considerably and so production was ended by mid-1999. The Volante, costing over £100,000 at its launch, remained in production until 2004. This DB7 Vantage Volante has had only two owners from new, it was supplied by HWM in Walton-on-Thames and this car has only been looked after by them. Purchased by the vendor in 2006, again from HWM, he continued to have them maintain it. Recent work carried out includes a service and four new Bridgestone tyres fitted. We are informed that the car drives beautifully, the V12 engine sounds divine and it is fitted with a Touchtronic gearbox with steering wheel buttons to change gear in sport mode. Finished in Antrim blue with dark blue roof and cream leather interior piped in blue, this DB7 is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in May 2015, the service and maintenance book which has the HWM service stamps and a file containing old invoices and MoT test certificates which confirms the mileage of just over 58,000 miles from new.
