Beschreibung:

Introduced in 1998, the Porsche 911, with the designation 996 had little in common with its predecessor, with the first new chassis platform since the original 911. Technically, it was a major change, a complete breakaway from the original car other than overall layout and featured the most significant change from the classic 911 series: a water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Other major changes include a completely new platform having a sleeker body with a more raked windscreen and re-designed interior. The first 996s were available as either a coupé or cabriolet and initially with rear wheel, or later, with four-wheel drive and a 3.4 litre flat six normally aspirated engine, producing 296bhp. This 996 cabriolet was first registered on 15 th June, 1999 and was delivered in the colours of metallic Ocean Blue with Metropole Blue hood and contrasting Savannah full leather. Optional equipment included the sound system, on-board computer and a CDR-22 CD Radio. Today, this presents very well, in fact, it may be described as exceptional given its mileage. This 911 has a comprehensive service history book and backed up with invoices and importantly, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, within the two delightfully presented Porsche Club Great Britain files. This attractive 911 has a Porsche GT kit fitted to the front end and sills to improve aesthetics whilst a useful and attractive hard top may be easily removed and stored on the stand provided. In addition, the car comes with a Nokia hands-free (Bluetooth) kit, Metex full dust cover, LED driving lights, wind deflector and storage case, complimentary cleaning pack and books of the 996 model. Currently registered with a private number plate, the 911 will arrive with an age related plate, UK V5 registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until August 2017. The next service is due in June this year, however, the vendor is keen for a new owner not to worry about this, so the Porsche will arrive at the sale with this service having recently been carried out. Offered ready to enjoy immediately, this Porsche has obviously been well cared for. We strongly recommended viewing to fully appreciate this motor car.
