Like the GT6 and MGBGT, two acknowledged influences, this wasn't just a convertible with a hardtop. The entire chassis was redesigned, the roof lengthened, more power added and finer under the skin details. The M Coupé was voted by Top Gear magazine as one of 'the 149 coolest cars ever'. Manufactured for a retail customer in December 1998, supplied to Barons of Heathrow and specified with Estoril Napper leather, non smoker pack, front side airbags, Grad Tint windscreen and the BMW business CD RDS system, this Z3M Coupé was then registered to its first owner on 8th January 1999. Presented in what, many believe, is the most desirable colour combination of Estoril Blue with black leather and blue inserts, this impressive S50 Z3M Roadster has covered 73,000 miles from new. Our vendor has owned the car since 2015, he purchased this after a tireless search for an enthusiast owned example which was eventually found in the Netherlands sitting alongside countless other collectible and rare BMWs.
