Beschreibung:

The Ferrari F355 was produced from May 1994 to 1999 and was an evolution of the Ferrari 348, using the same configuration with a mid-engine V8 driving the rear wheels. Displacement was increased from 3.4 litres as used in the 348 to 3.5 litres and the F355 also featured 5 valves per cylinder which was considerably more powerful than the 348, producing 380 hp at 8250 rpm. The longitudinal 90° V8 engine was bored 2mm over the 348 to achieve the modest increase in displacement, with an 85mm bore, 77mm stroke and a total displacement of 3495.50 cc utilizing an 11:1 compression ratio. Ferrari used Bosch Motronic M2.7 fuel injection in the 1995 model year and switched to M5.2 in 1996 through to the end of production, using electronic fuel injection, ignition control system with a single spark plug per cylinder and a dry-sump oil lubrication system. The frame was a steel monocoque with a tubular steel rear sub-frame with front and rear suspension using independent, unequal-length wishbones, coil springs over gas-filled telescopic shock absorbers with electronic control servos and anti-roll bars. Ferrari fitted all road-going F335 models with Pirelli tyres with 225/40ZR 18'' to the front and 265/40 ZR 18'' to the rear. At the launch two models were available, the Berlinetta (coupe) and the targa top GTS. The Spider was introduced in 1995 and in 1997 the formula one style paddle gear shift electro hydraulic manual transmission was made available with the introduction of the Ferrari 355 F1 which added £6,000 to the retail price. This right hand drive F1 Spider was supplied by Glenvarigill of Edinburgh on 10 th November 1997 and is finished in rosso corsa coachwork with crema seats, red carpets and black power hood. R965 TGF presents exceptionally well and has been properly maintained with regular services and cambelt changes, serviced by main agents HR Owen from 1998 with mileage at 2824 miles, to 2004 with mileage reading 17,993. From 2007 marque specialists Foskers have maintained the car with the most recent major service (including cambelts) on 25 th May 2010 with mileage at 20,714 miles, the odometer currently reads 21,000 miles. Offered with full service history, complete leather owners wallet with all hand books and service books, this well presented example is described by the vendor as near to perfect and a joy to drive. Supplied with full UK V5 registration and current MoT road test certificate, R965 TGF has air conditioning, CD Player, Fiorano handling package and is freshly serviced and ready to be enjoyed.
