The four-seat Lotus Excel is a true drivers car, lightweight body, excellent galvanised chassis and a 2.2-litre, 16v, DOHC, four-cylinder generating 180bhp and 165lb/ft of torque To mark 25 years at RAF Hethel, Lotus added 40 Hethel Celebration Edition models to the Excel range: 5 in Calypso Red and 35 in Marque Lotus Green Metallic This very special edition included upgraded speakers, a CD-player, red instrument lighting, air conditioning, Wilton carpets and a full tan leather interior with perforated leather panels and tan leather-clad steering wheel Purchased by its Lotus enthusiast owner back in 2007, the car was subject to a total renovation by Lotus specialists in 2016 and now presents really well The current indicated mileage is 36,810 (at the time of cataloguing) and the MOT is valid until 13/06/2023
