Beschreibung:

The 480 was the first front-wheel drive car made by Volvo. It features an unusual four-seat, three-door body, somewhere between hatchback and estate format. Volvo took six years from the time the 480 was conceived, through its development and finally brought to production in 1986. The 480 was the first Volvo of its style since the P1800ES and the last until the unveiling of the C30. All models featured a frameless glass hatch for cargo access and the 480 was the only Volvo to feature pop up headlamps for better aerodynamics. The 480 was manufactured in Born, Netherlands, at the factory that built DAF cars, including the DAF 66 based Volvo 66 and later the Volvo 300 Series. Volvo highlighted that the car was 'well-equipped with advanced electronics'. Originally registered on 3 rd November, 1990, this Volvo 480 has been owned by the same family from new and presents in excellent order throughout. The white coachwork is virtually unmarked as is the dark grey interior. The 1721cc engine runs exceedingly well and the four-speed automatic gearbox operates as it should. Described by the vendor as driving with no known faults, this 480 Turbo is supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 3 rd November 2017 together with a history folder confirming the low mileage of this 27 year old Volvo.
