Offered for sale is a 3500L 1990 Land Rover Discovery manual that has been with the current owner for the last year. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 74 / 135.
Classic Car Auctions says: An early Land Rover Discovery, one of the most important to come to the market in recent times. This 1990 three-door has a mere 37,000 miles and comes complete with Land Rover issued handbooks and service booklets. Although requiring correction to certain areas of the paintwork and engine bay we feel that this car will add to the collection of any discerning Land Rover connoisseur after a light restoration. The vendor will service the car and present the car to auction with a fresh MoT. This Discovery featured in a five page article in the March edition of Land Rover Enthusiast, where Simon Hodder said in 2008 "In fact, I'd go as far to say that if it isn't the best example of an early three-door Discovery in private hands, it's certainly one of the best." The carburetted 3.5 V8 with its satisfying burble was only ever used in the 1990 Discovery and the interior is in near showroom condition, with some patina to the steering wheel. We strongly advise inspection of this vehicle and at this guide price, offers great value in a rising classic Land Rover market. A sleeper if we have ever seen one, especially during the Discovery's 25th anniversery year.
