Beschreibung:

The iconic 911 can trace its history back some 44 years, its family tree containing such memorable cars as the 911S, 2.7 Carrera RS and the notorious Turbo. The landmark SC replaced all non-turbo 911s, first being presented to the general public at the 1977 Frankfurt Motor Show. Featuring 7Jx16 Fuchs rear rims and flared wings, it was offered in either coupé or targa form. Power came from the 3 litre Carrera engine, detuned to 180bhp and a 5 speed 915 transmission. This was still good enough to return a 0-60mph time of 6.4 seconds and would propel the car on to a maximum of 144 mph. This was the start of what are considered by collectors to be the most reliable 911S. As with many cars that form part of the lives of their owners, much time and expense has been lavished upon this example in the process from standard SC to RS reincarnation. The donor vehicle car was originally one of the last three litre 911SC's produced in 1983. It was a one owner car with an extensive history file detailing a lavish existence right up to 2010. It was then acquired by a Premiership footballer who travelled just a handful of miles in it. The car itself has undergone a full body strip-down with genuine steel wings backdated. Lightweight RS bumpers, front and rear, were installed along with a lightweight 'long' bonnet and the all important lightweight ducktail to the rear. Mechanically, it has undergone a full check over from top to bottom with the mechanic noting that all steering and braking elements appear to be in very good order. It has had the engine and gearbox rebuilt recently along with SS1 stainless-steel heat exchangers and twin stainless exhaust fitted. It also has factory Bilstein suspension and has been reset to fast road settings. The interior has not been forgotten and has also been tastefully backdated retaining black leather rear seats and new period RS front seats. Steering is through a period Momo Prototipo steering wheel and lightweight door panels have been included. The electric windows have been retained for comfort with the surrounds polished as they were on the original RS's. The exterior has been finished to a high standard in the original 1973 Porsche Blood Orange with contrasting black decals. The wheels are the correct Fuchs 7x16 items to the front with impressive 9x16 rear wheels delivering the power at the rear. Few cars can carry of this sort of colour scheme but this RS is certainly one of them and has the performance to prove it
