Beschreibung:

Offered for sale is a 3.0L 1977 Triumph Stag manual that has been with the current owner for the last 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 81 / 135.
Classic Car Auctions says: A well-presented Triumph Stag showing just 66,500 miles, accompanied by its original bill of sale, service books and a history file going back to the first owner. Like the Triumph 2000, from which it was developed, the Stag was styled by Italian maestro Giovanni Michelotti and featured the monocoque construction, independent suspension, disc/drum brakes, power-assisted rack and pinion steering and driveline of that saloon. The power plant, though, was an all-new OHC, V8 of 3,000cc capacity fed by a pair of Stromberg carburettors. The newcomer received a warm reception at the time of launch in 1970. Owned by the current vendor for some ten years and supplied with a hard top roof, we are told this most interesting and attractive 3.0 V8 manual car has been regularly maintained by various Stag specialist garages. Sparingly used by the vendor for summer weekends away, this car was renovated in the late 1990s.
