Beschreibung:

1974 JAGUAR E-TYPE V-12 SERIES III ROADSTER Chassis No. UEIS 25321 Engine No. 7S 16682 LA Red with biscuit interior Engine: V-12, 5,343cc, 241bhp at 4,750; Gearbox: four speed manual; Brakes: hydraulic disc; Suspension: independent front and rear. Left hand drive. Launched in 1961, the E-Type Jaguar displayed the superb lines of its illustrious ancestry. Built to succeed the XK range, the model's sleek and flowing form was an immediate sensation. Originally powered by a 3.8 liter engine and later upgraded to a 4.2, the car also received four wheel disc brakes and fully independent suspension. The E-Type became an even superior performance car in 1971 when the 5.3 liter V-12, Jaguar's first new engine since the debut of the XK 120, was available. With 241 horsepower and the smooth V-12, the Jaguar was a refined yet exciting car. Prior to 1971, only Ferrari and Lamborghini provided this combination, but with less refinement and at a much higher price. This V12 has been in the same California family ownership since new and was originally purchased from a dealership in Santa Barbara. It was meticulously maintained and regularly serviced by Moss Jaguar. Over the years it has had new carpet on the drivers and passengers floor, new tires and tubes, and some years ago was reprayed in the original red. We are told for the last four years, it has been stored in a garage in Pasadena, California and has recently been recomissioned with a major tune up and maintenance service, the carburettors and whole fuel system from the tank forward were removed, flushed and rebuilt at great expense. Only 30,405 miles, believed from new are showing on the odometer, it comes with both a hard and soft top.
