1973 Dino 246 GTS Carte grise française Châssis n° 05024 Moteur n° 10755 Boite n° 1927 - Chef-d'œuvre esthétique - Moteur d'origine - Modèle très bien suivi - Certifiée par Ferrari Classiche Enzo Ferrari souhaitait au début des années 1960 s'ouvrir à des modèles de plus grande diffusion, mais n'était pas prêt pour le moteur central. C'est Sergio Pininfarina qui a initié le premier projet dans ce sens, la Dino 206 Berlinetta Speciale présentée au Salon de Paris 1965. Puis, en 1966, le même Pininfarina proposait la Dino Berlinetta GT, dotée d'un nouveau châssis tubulaire et d'un V6 en position centrale, avec un dessin d'une extrême élégance mêlée de sportivité que l'on retrouvait sur la Dino 206 GT présentée l'année suivante. Première Ferrari de route à moteur central, elle ouvrait la voie à une nouvelle famille dont le succès se confirme encore aujourd'hui avec les F430 à moteur V8. Cette jolie Dino 246 GTS a été livrée neuve en avril 1973 aux USA. Comme c'était souvent le cas pour les modèles destinés au marché américain, elle fut équipée en option de la climatisation. Dans un état d'origine très sain, elle fut ramenée en Italie pour faire partie de la collection de Norberto Ferretti créateur de l'entreprise des yachts éponyme, passionné d'art et d'automobiles d'exception. Elle fut ensuite intégralement restaurée, conservant sa belle couleur Giallo Fly d'origine intérieur noir. Depuis ces travaux elle n'a parcouru qu'un peu plus de 3000 km, son compteur affichant 5859 km. Son moteur est celui d'origine et au terme de la restauration elle fut certifiée par Ferrari et sera vendue avec son "Certificato di autenticità" Classiche Ferrari. Elle est encore équipée de son système de climatisation qui a été révisé et des vitres électriques. Vendue avec sa fiche ACI-CSAI, cette Dino sera une monture idéale pour participer avec classe et cheveux aux vents à des rallyes historiques. It was Sergio Pininfarina who initiated the first such project, in the Dino 206 Berlinetta Speciale presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1965. In 1966 it was Pininfarina again who proposed the Dino Berlinetta GT, boasting a new tubular chassis and centrally positioned V6 engine, with a superbly elegant and sporty design that reappeared the following year on the Dino 206 GT. This first mid-engined road-going Ferrari opened the way for a new branch of the family with a lasting success still evident today in the V8-engined F430. This pretty Dino 246 GTS was delivered new to the USA in 1973. As was often the case with models destined for the American market, it was equipped with air conditioning as an option. In sound original condition, it was brought to Italy to join the collection of Norberto Ferretti, creator of the eponymous yacht company, and passionate about art and exceptional automobiles. It was then fully restored, retaining the lovely and original 'Giallo Fly' colour, with black interior. Since this work was carried out, the car has only covered a little over 3000 km, and the odometer reads 5859 km. It has its original engine and at the end of the restoration it was certified by Ferrari and will be sold with its Classiche Ferrari "Certificato di autenticità". The car still has the air conditioning system, which has been serviced, and electric windows. Offered with its ACI-CSAI papers, this Dino is the perfect car to take part, in style and with your hair blowing in the wind, in historic rallies.
