Beschreibung:

Financially supported by Fiat, Ferrari decided to enter Formula 2 and create a 2-litre light alloy engine, 500 units of which had to be produced. Fiat, which partly manufactured it, was able to use two derived versions. So, in 1966 the Fiat Dino appeared with an aluminium 2-litre V6 engine with 4 overhead cams [OHC] which in 1969 replaced an engine of the same structure but with a cast-iron block bored out to 2.4 litres. The Fiat Dino has existed since 1967 in two forms: a cabriolet designed by Pininfarina and a separate coupe created by Bertone. Power was 180hp, a ZF gearbox replaced the original Fiat gearbox and the fixed oscillation axle gave way to independent rear wheel suspension with angled arms. Fitted out in this way, the Fiat Dino 2400 was presented as a modern and elegant sports car capable of exceeding 200 km/h and endowed with a magnificent and reliable engine made by Ferrari. This Fiat Dino 2400 coupe from 1972, in metallic marron glacé and fitted out with very beautiful dark green upholstery, is in a very good state of presentation and operation. With 112,000 km on the odometer, a third owner (in the Stephane Collaro collection for 16 years) has covered 11,000 km since 1987 with its original engine and equipped with new brakes and tyres, light alloy wheels and a Nardi steering wheel. It is rare to find a car like this in such condition and its stock as a collection item is continually rising. It is accompanied by a substantial file of invoices and its normal French carte grise [vehicle registration document].
