1969 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6,3L No reserve Titre de circulation suédois Châssis n°10901812002011 - 250 cv dans un salon! - Rare livrée bicolore - Dans la même famille pendant près de 50 ans - Sans réserve Cette Mercedes 300 SEL, dotée de l'impressionnante mécanique 6.3L, fut commandée par M. Uno Rylander, en Suède. A sa demande, elle arborait une livrée spéciale bicolore beige et marron, identique à celle de sa Mercedes 220 SE Coupé. Elle lui fut livrée par l'usine le 27 Juin 1969. Au titre des particularités, cette 300 SEL disposait également d'un intérieur en cuir cognac, d'un tableau de bord et de garnitures de portes avec inserts en ronce de noyer, de vitres électriques, d'un toit ouvrant électrique et de la climatisation. La voiture resta entre les mains de Mr. Rylander pendant près de quatre décennies, jusqu'à sa mort. Son fils, Gustaf Rylander en hérita alors et la conserva jusqu'à l'année dernière lorsqu'il la revendit à son actuel propriétaire. Avec près de 50 ans entre dans la même famille et une histoire continue et documentée, il s'agit d'une Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3L particulièrement intéressante. D'après son dossier d'entretien, Mr Rylander fit remplacer le moteur par Daimler-Benz à Hambourg, le 31 août 1977. Son fils, Gustaf Rylander, précise que son père trouvait que sa 6.3 L consommait trop d'huile et par conséquent fait remplacer le moteur par le "Austauschaggregate", sous garantie. La qualité du travail et la finition réalisée par Daimler Benz à l'époque est évidente. Malgré près de cinquante ans d'usage, l'intérieur de cette élégante Mercedes est superbe, presque intact et les coussins des sièges restent fermes. Le propriétaire actuel l'a fait repeindre récemment à cause de craquelures. Cette Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3L sera livrée avec sa roue de secours d'origine, son cric et ses outils ainsi que son dossier complet. Swedish title Chassis n° 10901812002011 - 250 Hp in a sofa ! - Very rare two-tone paint - In the same family for almost 50 years - No reserve This Mercedes 300 SEL was ordered new with its impressive 6,3-litre engine by Mr Uno Rylander from Sweden. He specifically requested the car to be painted beige and brown, the same colour combination as his Mercedes 220 SE Coupé. The 300 SEL was delivered to him from the factory on the 27 June 1969. The interior was ordered in cognac leather, with burl walnut wood for the dashboard and door trimmings. This elegant Mercedes is also equipped with electric windows, electric sunroof and an air-conditioning. Mr. Rylander kept the car for almost four decades up until his death. The car then passed over to his son Gustaf Rylander who kept it until last year when the current owner had the opportunity to acquire this great automobile. Almost fifty years in the same family and a documented history since new, make this Mercedes 300 SEL 6,3 L one of the most interesting example. According to the car's documentation Mr Rylander had the engine exchanged at the Daimler Benz in Hamburg on the 31 August 1977. His son, Gustaf Rylander, said that his father was not happy with the oil consumption and got the "Austauschaggregate"as a replacement engine by warranty. The quality of and the workmanship at Daimler Benz in those days is evident. Despite almost fifty years of use, the interior of this elegant Mercedes is still in remarkable condition, almost untouched and the seats cushions are still as firm as new. Due to some cracking in the clear coat, the current owner of this 6,3 L recently had the car resprayed. It will be delivered to its new owner with its original spare tire, jack and tools and comprehensive historic file.
