1969 Lamborghini 400 GT Islero S Carte grise française Châssis n° 6522 Moteur n° 50175 - Rare toit ouvrant - Voiture saine et entretenue - V12 de 4 litre et châssis court La nouvelle 400 GT fut appelée Islero, nom du célèbre taureau de combat qui tua le matador, Manuel Rodriguez, le 28 août 1947. Elle hérita du champion le noir profond de sa robe ainsi que son profil tranchée et sa ligne ramassée. La motorisation issue de la précédente 400 rend la voiture particulièrement rapide, surtout dans sa version S, apparue en 1969. Elle est équipée en série de magnifiques jantes de type Miura. Une sortie d'air sur l'aile avant permet de distinguer les modèles S des précédentes, mais ce n'est pas la seule différence. La prise d'air du capot est agrandie et un rebord sur les passages de roue souligne le dessin des ailes de la voiture. La finition est soignée. La voiture tient encore mieux la route grâce à une nouvelle suspension arrière. L'exemplaire proposé est un modèle vendu neuf aux Etats-Unis. Le propriétaire précédent l'avait acquise en 1994 et la céda au propriétaire actuel en 2003. Cette splendide Islero S peinte en noir a toujours été entretenue et choyée. L'actuel propriétaire a refait les carburateurs, les rotules de direction et a remplacé la ligne d'échappement (Ansa). Les ressorts de suspension arrière ont été re-fabriqués par un spécialiste et les freins sont entièrement neufs. L'intérieur est tendu de cuir d'origine de couleur parchemin à passepoil rouge et le ciel de toit est beige. Elle est équipée d'un rare toit ouvrant d'origine à commande manuelle alors que les vitres teintées sont électriques. Ce coupé Islero S, digne successeur des 350 et 400 GT dont elle reprend la majorité de la mécanique est injustement méconnu.
